EngLeaders (engleaders.ai) helps engineering leaders find and apply to jobs. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your account: your name and email address, from signing up with email, Google or LinkedIn.
- Your profile: the resume you upload and the details read from it, and what you tell us you're looking for (levels, areas, pay, location).
- Your activity: jobs you save or mark as applied, and application drafts you create.
How we use it
- To show jobs that fit you, with a match score.
- To draft cover notes and application answers for you to review. You always decide what to send.
- To run and improve the service.
We use AI (Anthropic's Claude) to read your resume and write drafts. Your data is sent to it only to do that work. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, it is not used to train their models.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it with employers. We use a few service providers to run the site: Clerk (sign-in), Render (hosting and database), Cloudflare (domain), and Anthropic (AI). They process data only on our behalf. When you apply to a job, you submit your application on the employer's own site, under their privacy policy.
Google and LinkedIn sign-in
If you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture, to create your account. We don't read your email, contacts or posts.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile or upload a new resume any time.
- You can ask us to delete your account and all your data by emailing us. We'll do it within 30 days.
Security
Your data is stored with our hosting provider and is only visible to you when signed in. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and tell signed-up users about important changes.
